St. Louis Symphony Workshop

Some of The Little School teachers participated in a workshop Wednesday evening at Powell Hall. It was our turn to be preschoolers, marching, crawling, swaying to music, playing instruments, and participating in parachute play using the story The Tortoise and The Hare. We discovered ways to incorporate music into the classroom by participating in lesson plans that emphasize creating and exploring music through the framework of current early childhood curricula.

There is still room in the 4-5’s Friday STEAM class (9:00-11:45am) AND Friday Enrichment (11:45am-2:30/2:55pm) open to 3-4’s and 4-5’s. Please let us know if you would like to enroll in either or both of these programs.
